Project config files
A project's setup command, quick actions, onSettle, dev server probe, icon and shared automations can live in files at the repo root, so they are reviewed, diffed and shared like code. Three layers apply, highest first: Quick actions merge across the two files by id (or by name when there is no id).
A project's setup command, quick actions, onSettle,
dev server probe, icon and shared automations can live in files at
the repo root, so they are reviewed, diffed and shared like code.
Three layers apply, highest first:
- Edit project in the app. A setup command set here replaces the files' setup, and a quick action list set here replaces theirs. Nothing here is shared.
-
solenta.local.json, gitignored and for this checkout only. It may holdsetup, quickActionsandonSettle. -
solenta.json, committed and shared with everyone who opens the repo.
Quick actions merge across the two files by id (or by
name when there is no id). A local entry with the same id replaces
the shared one, a new id adds a button, and
{"id": "test", "hidden": true} hides a shared entry on
this checkout. Commands from either file ask for your approval
before they first run, and again whenever the merged set changes.
Start either file with
"$schema": "https://solenta.app/solenta.schema.json"
and editors that read JSON Schema autocomplete and check every key.
Solenta rejects an unknown key, so a typo like setpu
shows up as an error in Edit project instead of being ignored.
If your commands only live in the app, Move to
solenta.json in Edit project opens a pull request from a
new worktree thread. The PR adds them to solenta.json
and gitignores solenta.local.json. Your saved settings
stay in place until you clear them after it merges, so nothing
changes before review.
